My name is Victor Alanzo Bernard Bal. Since the early 1990s, I’ve been a French polisher doing various jobs across the country. In the last few years, I’ve learned to create these paintings with fantastic and beautiful effects using methods adopted from French polishing.
The comments I’ve received about my paintings range from “they look like under water scenes” to “they look like glass slate” but the one that I hear most often is “like constellations looking into the stars”. When one sees the photos sent back from the Hubble telescope, my paintings are no way as beautiful or as well balanced as they are, but they do give that feel. Customers have said they know that they will be looking at the paintings for years to come and always notice little things they’ve not seen before, making them a real talking piece for any room, traditional or modern.
What does Art by Victor Bal offer? My paintings come in six main colours: blue, green, yellow, red, purple and orange. All paintings have metallic elements added, plus a mix of colours to complement the main colour. I can add faint outline figures for special requests (such as love hearts) and I can create paintings of any size. My paintings always come with a high gloss finish. The paintings have over seven coats applied to give a 3D effect. I can frame paintings at an extra cost.
Art by Victor Bal also makes 4×4 low down coffee tables with the style painted on top – a must see! Some abstracts sell for £1000s but you will be looking at them for a short time – Artbyvictorbal paintings sell for less but they will keep your attention for years.

Red a beautiful colour made from ochre and one of the first colours used in prehistoric art. We love to see red sunsets, red roses and rosy cheeks. Red is associated with passion, danger and heat.
view red artWho doesn’t love paintings with blue skies and waters? When we see the pictures of Earth, we see a dominant blue rules. Blue is associated with harmony, confidence, imagination, cold and distance.
view blue artYellow paintings can give off a feeling of amusement and gentleness. Yellow is used well by myself as it adds so many feelings and can be used to mix and helps blend in other colours.
view yellow artGreen is the colour associated with nature. Green can be thought of when feeling ill but in China happiness. I use green for blending and have often used it to get the effect of taking you into the paintings.
view green artPurple is a fun colour to work with. It’s associated with royalty. It was very expensive to make at one time and quite rare. I use it as an dominant colour and it goes well with silver gold and yellow.
view purple artMany of my red and yellow paintings have orange in them. Orange is associated with autumn leaves. Peach colour can come from this colour and looks great beside white. Orange is seen in fire and looks amazing. Well used at Art by Victor Bal.
